Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there are differences in the effect of the company's financial ratios as proxied by Current ratio (CR), return on equity ratio (ROE), debt to equity ratio (DER) and total asset turnover (TATO) on firm value as proxied by price. to book value ratio (PBV) of telecommunications companies listed on the IDX in the period before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses data from companies in the telecommunications sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019 and 2020. The data obtained are in the form of financial reports downloaded from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange www.idx.co.id and the official website. company. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique and a sample of 4 companies was obtained with an observation period of one year for the period before the Covid-19 pandemic and one year for the period during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that there was a difference in the effect of the total asset turn over variable on the price to book value ratio in the period before and during the covid-19 pandemic, while the influence of the current ratio, return on equity ratio and debt to equity ratio variables did not change both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. during the covid-19 pandemic
