The discussion of work ethics theory passed the mature phase and was accepted by society. Work ethics theory is based on humanity and humanizing human assumption. It is differ with the Islamic Work Ethics Theory, IWE. It is based on the Holy Quran and the Ash-Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh). This theory directs its users to do any activities that suitable with islamic rules (shariah). IWE users do not work for money, but for Allah. Their purpose is Allah’s blessing (barakah) for their life. This study is about Islamic work ethic applied by Waroeng Steak & Shake in Indonesia. The company analyzed in this study is “Waroeng Steak and Shake”. Its Headquarters is located in the Ganesha no. 16 Timoho. In this office the manager manages the whole “Waroeng” branches. The participants of this study are 58 respondent, managers and employees from three business organizations. They explained four pillars as the quality controls applied by the Waroeng. They are the gratitude, the alms, the Islamic tithe (zakah), the Holy Al-Quran and Dhuha Prayer. They boost the employees to work hard. This study used quantitative approach with data collection method using questionnaires. The study resulted that Islamic work ethics have three factors: Itqan wa ihsan, Nafii‟un Lighairi, Wara‟. This shows that the Itqan wa ihsan, Nafii‟un Lighairi factors positively and significantly influenced employee’s motivation variable, then the employee’s motivation influence employee’s performance. Meanwhile the Wara‟ factor negatively and not significantly influenced the employee’s motivation.
