Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) represented by managerial ownership, independent commissioners, board of directors and internal audit committee on financial performance in LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2016-2018. The method used in this study was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 72 companies. This study uses multiple linear regression to examine the effect of GCG on financial performance. From this research, the results of managerial ownership and internal audit committee did not affect financial performance, while the independent commissioners and the board of directors had a positive effect on financial performance.
