Abstract
This research aims to knowing the extent of the effectiveness of Warunk Upnormal’s advertising on Instagram in Yogyakarta. The effective assessment of Warunk Upnormal’s advertising use EPIC Model method that have four dimensions that is empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication. This research use sample retrieval techniques that is Purposive Sampling. Data in this research obtained through on online questionnaire distributed to 150 respondents with characteristics community in Yogyakarta and using social media Instagram. The results of this research from empathy dimension, Warunk Upnormal’s advertising on Instagram is effective with an average score 3,58. Persuasion dimension show that Warunk Upnormal’s advertising is effective with an average score 3,45. Impact dimension show that Warunk Upnormal’s advertising is effective with an average score 3,65. Whereas communication dimension fall into categories effective with an average score 3,79. Of these four dimensions of EPIC Model, communication dimension is the most prominent dimension.
